Friendly Reminder

The world is pining for me to become a cautious person, or perhaps I have just become more aware of the dangers the world holds and am therefore subconsciously suggesting caution to myself. Regardless, being alert is never a negative thing per say, but being wary of too much makes life dreary. Fear, no matter what form it takes, cripples every sense and devastates rationality. Physical, emotional, and mental trauma happens and when it happens to you it can stop you from doing what you love. There should always be something in life that is so satisfying that it can’t easily be compromised by fear. Find what that is and you will find the keystone of what makes you happy.

The last thing I want to become is too afraid to live. I constantly catch myself worrying about things I can’t control. Despite the choices made in the present, the future will always throw improbabilities along the way. Some will be constructive, beneficial and maybe even enjoyable while others will be hard, trying and painful.

Fight every “what if” with a “so what” and brace yourself for the future. That’s all any of us can do.
These points are blatant but we can all use a friendly reminder every once and awhile.

  3. This is fantastic. Love this: There should always be something in life that is so satisfying that it can’t easily be compromised by fear.

And love how the photo compliments the writing, but I hope you're okay...
