Walk Without Rhythm

...and you won't attract the worm.
I was named after a character from Frank Herbert's science fiction novel "Dune". In the story, the only way to cross the desert is to walk without rhythm. Any footsteps with a regular pattern would attract a gigantic sand worm that would then eat you. The end.
This is a reminder to myself to follow my own pulse, my own pace and my own protocol while living in the desert to make it across the next few years mentally intact.
Still soaking in as much of home as I can and loving every precious second of it.

  1. Love this (and your tatt). Short and sweet. Is there any way I could get a look at your memoir? I'm sure it would be inspirational..

  2. I am SUPER STOKED to share it. (Un)fortunately I am submitting it to some film festivals so it can't be put online for awhile. However, when the festivals are over I will absolutely, without a doubt be sharing it online.
